Stretch Card

I'm having fun using some Silhouette Online Store files I've bought but haven't used yet. It's about time to put these fun files to use, huh?

This is a Stretch Card by Lori Whitlock. It's not perfectly assembled, but for the first try, I'm happy with it.

Here are a couple of pics of the card before adding any embellishments to it. This is exactly everything you get in the cut file when you buy it.

Pretty cool, huh? Love it! Now I need to figure out how I want to embellish it.  Hmmm...

KaDoodle Bug Designs has a cute FREEBIE right now. Think I'll grab that to use.

Of course I have to use some Miss Kate Cuttables too because her files are so CUTE!

Products used:

  • Silhouette Online Store ID# 42455 Lori Whitlock Stretch Card
  • KaDoodle Bug Designs Sailor Bear
  • Miss Kate Cuttables Hello Sunshine
  • DCWV Green Tea 12x12 stack
  • Liquid glue, Foam Squares, Xyron (Royal Castle Shoppe)

Give this Stretch Card a try. It's fun!

Here is Lori Whitlock's YouTube video tutorial on assembling this card....

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hoot Hoot Hooray!

Hi, crafters! Today I have a fun flip swing card to share with you. The card base is from Lori Whitlock which I got at the Silhouette Online Store. I added some shadow mats and extra mats for the small squares on the top and bottom when it's opened. Take a looksee!

Outside:
  • Silhouette Online Store #28765  3D Flip Swing Card Basic (Lori Whitlock)
  • Pattern paper (with foil) = DCWV The Green Tea Stack
  • Solid blue textured paper = stash
  • Miss Kate Cuttables Forest Owl
  • White Gel Pen (Royal Castle Shoppe) for accents on eyes, belly & leaves
Inside:
  • All of the solid blue shadows were created with the Silhouette OFFSET feature
  • The inside small squares top and bottom were created by me (not part of the file)
  • Cardz TV Stamps "For the Birds" sentiment stamps
I am tickled with how it came out! I have more of the flip swing card cut files I haven't used yet, so you can expect to see some more of these types of cards on my blog soon.

Here is Lori Whitlock's YouTube video tutorial for this card.

Miss Kate Cuttables, Xyron & Out on a Limb Scrapbooking Co-Hop Week

Hi, everyone! So glad you are here because today is my day to post for the week long Miss Kate Cuttables with Out On A Limb Scrapbooking & Xyron Co-Hop! Did you know that Out on a Limb Scrapbooking is a sister company to Miss Kate Cuttables? Cool, huh?

Be sure to check out both the Xyron and Miss Kate Cuttables Blogs for all the details on how to win fabulous prizes!
MAKE SURE YOU ARE A FOLLOWER OF MY BLOG!

Do you know what is awesome about Out on a Limb Scrapbooking kits?
  • They are all double layouts
  • Everything you need is included in the kit
  • Shapes are pre-cut and ready for you to assemble
  • Shapes are from Miss Kate Cuttables!
  • Instruction sheet included

Have you seen the variety of Xyron Products that help with your crafting needs? Today I'll be showing you:

  • Xyron 1" sticker maker
  • Xyron 3" sticker maker
  • Xyron Tape runner

Xyron has lots of other products too; so be sure to visit them, and see how they can make your crafting easier. :)

Here's a sample of what your Out on a Limb Scrapbook kit will look like when you receive it in the mail:

Here's what it looks like spread out with all the pieces ready for your tender loving care:

Let's assemble the pieces!

The Xyron 1" sticker maker is perfect for all your smaller cuts!

Here you can see the 1" above the 3" to give you an idea of the different sizes.

The Xyron 3" sticker maker makes adhering your larger pieces a snap!

The Xyron Double-Sided High Tack Tape makes adhering your photo mats and larger elements easy peasy.

I loved using all of these Xyron projects with my Out on  Limb Scrapbooking Layout kit. It really made it super easy to piece together.

Pieces assembled using Xyron Products:

Pages laid out as the kit instructs:

Pages with a little added grass from my stash (also from Miss Kate Cuttables):

See how easy that was?

I added some inking around some of the pieces and parts, but other than that, this is what you get, and it all fits together perfectly!  Remember, I added the grass which is also a Miss Kate Cuttables die cut, but not part of this kit.

Thanks so much for coming by to see what I'm up to today.  Don't forget to visit the other Design Team members posting today and all this week for more ideas and inspiration.

Don't forget...
Check out the Miss Kate Cuttables & Xyron blogs for prize info.
