A2 Card Organization: Thank You Cards (Series 4 of 5)

Happy Hump Day!

Today is my fourth post in a series of A2 Card Organization. Each Wednesday in February I will be showing you Themed Boxes to organize and store your A2 size cards. This idea was inspired by my friend, Tanya, of Nonna's Craft Corner. See her post HERE.

I'm using Lori Whitlock's cut file purchased from the Silhouette Online Store Design ID #43509. It comes with the box shape cuts, the paper cuts to decorate the box and tab dividers. (Tab dividers not used today.)

Still Beach Dreaming....

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you have someone special (people or fur babies) to spend some time with today. I'm still dreaming of the beach, so today I'm back with Beach Girl. Maybe her and Beach Boy from yesterday will find each other today and play on the beach for a little while.

First let me acknowledge that I know the sentiment is crooked. I left it that way because even with it crooked, it's still a cute card, and if I wanted something perfect I would have bought a boring card at the store, right? Right. :)

Background pattern papers from Hobby Lobby "Khloe Lane"
Dress paper from Doodlebug Design "Flower Box"
Extra shadow layer created using the Offset feature on the Silhouette
Peachy Keen Stamps PK-451 Wide Eyed Kids 1 1/8"
White gel pen added to eyes; chalk added to cheeks
Stampin' Up "Really Good Greetings" for sentiment
Beach Girl attached with foam squares for dimension (Royal Castle Shoppe)

Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy your Friday and your weekend. :) Janis

2nd Winter "Storm" in just a couple of weeks

Living in South Carolina usually means mild winters and extremely hot and humid summers. Rarely do we get snow. If we do, rarely does it last for more than a few hours before the sun comes out and melts it away.  We are not prepared here in the south for wintry snowy weather. It just doesn't occur enough here.  It's unusual that this is the 2nd time in a couple of weeks that we have had a Winter Storm Warning. Last time we got a few inches of snow that actually stayed on the ground a few days. And now we have ice accumulation from sleet. It's been sleeting all day. I personally think it's beautiful.

Luckily that tree limb didn't hit anything when it fell except the ground.

That tree was leaning on the satelite dish, but Tom pushed it aside so we could get a signal.

More trees leaning over from the weight of the ice.

Enjoy your day!
