I'm So Lucky

Happy Friday! Who has big plans for this weekend? Hubby is working on our fence in the backyard this weekend. We've had a few trees fall since last autumn, so time to get that all good again in order to let the puppies be able to run free back there with no escape plans. Other than that, I hope we have beautiful (warmer) weather so we can spend a lot of time outside just enjoying the sunshine.

Sunday is my day to post on the Miss Kate Cuttables new blog for the first time. I'll be posting every other Sunday. Hope you'll stop by there and see what the other Design Team members are posting each day and leave us some comment love. :)

Today's card is lots of layers and lots of pattern paper. Hope you enjoy it!

In other News...

Check out Miss Kate Cuttables daily FREEBIE and she has her most recent new designs on the home page if you scroll down a little. Today there is an adorable lamb collection. Yep - I bought it. It's only 99 cents. She also has daily deals that are often (but not always) just 35 cents. Love her SVG cuts.

Also, some other fun news. Have you seen the January 2014 Peachy Keen Stamp release? So cute! I ordered several of them yesterday and signed up for the Stamp Kit of the Month Club. I'm excited about that. It's a good deal. Go check it out.

One more thing, have you been hopping along with My Creative Time's sneak peek on her new stamp and metal die release this week? Man, that design team is workin' it! So much creativity and inspiration. I'm looking forward to tomorrow to order her little envie die. I'm loving the projects the DT made with that one.

Hope you all have a very happy day full of good laughs and good times. :) Janis

What a Beautiful thing; the gift of You

It's Saturday! We are going to be busy beavers today helping set up and breakdown my mother-in-law's 70th birthday party - with a lot of celebrating inbetween. But before we go do all that, our puppies are having their very own photo shoot with our daughter who just happens to be a professional photographer. I want some puppy pics for the scrapbook before they get much bigger and I say, "Wish we had more pictures when they were tiny." They are growing so fast!

Hope you all have some good plans for today.

You're Too Kind

Before I show you my card....

How much do you spend on lunch every day? How much for gas to drive to work? How about that movie you go to? A new case for your cool phone? How many people are hungry and could use a hot meal? Please take a small amount from one of your other budget categories and donate, if only a dollar, to help somebody out.

My husband, Tom, will be participating in the MGC Long Run (15K) on Feb. 1st in Columbia, South Carolina, and we would very much appreciate any size donation.

Love You

Hi! Man, it's cold down here in the south. Even though temps have dipped into the teens the last couple of days, the good news is that it's suppose to be 71 on Saturday. Ahhh, the craziness of living in the South.

Our little puppies are growing so fast! When we first got them, they were 3 pounds. As of their vet visit last weekend, they are now 6 pounds. And cute! Oh my gosh. They are such adorable little pups.

Remember I said they went shopping with us at Petsmart last weekend? Thought you'd enjoy a pic of that. Miss Ginger is the one admiring the pink collars. Mary Ann is enjoying watching Ginger stretch to the top of the buggy. We've been asked what breed they are... they are Pitt Bulls. Now don't let that breed name turn you off immediately. Dogs learn acceptable behavior as they grow. So if they are socialized and treated lovingly, they will grow to be wonderful pets no matter what breed they are. These little darlings play with our young toddler grandchildren and our special needs child, so they are getting lots of socialization.

Okay, you probably just want me to get on with my card creation for today. Here you go...

Kraft card base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Black 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Pattern paper 4" x 5 1/4" (from Echo Park "All About a Boy")
