CCC #50 PAPER PUPS CHRISTMAS CARD
INSIDE:
Do you know what day it is? It's Wednesday which means a brand new challenge is starting today over at Cricut Cardz Challenge! Yeah! This week it's all about using the Card Feature on any Cricut cart you like making a Christmas card.
I chose to use Paper Pups's card feature. Don't you just think this stocking with the doggie bone sticking out is too cute?! Sweet! How many of you have pets that you hang stockings for? I think that's so precious.
This cut is on page 100 of the Paper Pups manual, card feature using shift cut @ 5 1/2".
Then I cut the stocking and bone again in red and cream again at 2 1/2".
All the papers used were from DCWV The Christmas Combo Stack.
All stickers used are from Perfect Pages Warm Wishes.
Your turn! Hope over to CCC and play along with us!
Hugs, Janis!

Card base is gray from Value Pack (pre-scored for easy folding!)
Papers are from DCWV The Winter Combo Printed Matstack (gorgeous papers!)
Image colored with Crayola Markers and Crayola Crayons.

FALL PAPER BAG ALBUM
Here is a Fall Paper Bag Album I made this week.
I used regular brown paper bags and trimmed the opening side down to 7".
I followed a tutorial for this one.
I think what I like about this the most is
the chipboard covers! Thanks, scrapfroggy530! I would have never thought of that!
All papers used are from K & Company the Pumpkin Patch.
All 3-D embellies are from K & Company.
The stickers are from stash.
On the cover here, you'll notice ribbon used instead of binding rings.
The book is securely glued together on it's own. It does not need any ribbon or binding rings to hold it together. I just did this for looks. I used the ribbon because when I put in the binding rings, it made it way to tight and difficult to open the pages.
The ribbon adds some decoration, and the pages open easily with them there.
On these pages - the orange photo mat is slipped inside the yellow tab down the side and easily pulls out. The smaller part of the bag here between the pages, was made into a pocket to hold the yellow card with an apple tag for pulling it out the pocket.
Again here the small bag piece between these 2 pages is a pocket with a photo mat that easily pulls out with this pumpkin tab.
We plan on using this album for memorabilia.
We will put brochures, tickets, postcards, etc in the paper bag pockets from our exploring Houston, Texas this Fall. Since we just moved here from Georgia, I'm sure it won't take long for us to fill up this bag with things we want to remember from our adventures.
I want to get the Cricut Cartridge, 50 STATES. I saw it is on sale at DIE CUT CENTRAL for $19.99. Wow! I can't do that right now though. Soon. I have so many carts on my wish list. LOL Do you guys make wish lists like that too?
I think it would be neat to use that cart for the state flag, state shape, etc. And then when we move to Alaska next year, we can use it for that sort of thing again.
Everybody have a safe and fun weekend!
Hugs!

A Big HELLO from TEXAS!!! We made it! Are you ready for Week 14 of 52Q? The question this week for your Mini Me Book is: WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE YOU'VE EVER LIVED? WHY?
As so many of you know, we loved living in Alaska and can't wait to move back there next year. We are so looking forward to it.
This page was made in honor of my favorite place we've ever lived - ALASKA.
I used pattern papers from DCWV Christmas Assortment stack and solid papers from Creative Memories.
Background brown checks cut @ 5 1/4" x 4"
Background snowflakes cut @ 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Cricut Cartridge: GIVE A HOOT
Snow hills cut with FIT TO LENGTH feature set to 4 1/4" on page 65
Snow Pine Tree cut @ 2" page 65
Moose cut @ 3 1/4" page 74 using only the main image on SHIFT
We forgot our printer {sigh}, so I haven't made the question yet for the outside, but I'll get that together as soon as I can.
Please press the blue button below to link to your 52Q page for this week. To go back and see all the questions either to get started or catch up, click on 52Q under the blog header.

MOVING TO HOUSTON, TEXAS!
Hello all my bloggy friends! We start our traveling today from Augusta, GA to Houston, TX! We will be stopping somewhere tonight along the way and then finishing the trip tomorrow. Please pray for safety for us. We are very excited. This move is just temporary. We will be heading back up to Alaska sometime between March and May of next year. That's where we really want to be!
I'll try to catch up with everybody once we get there and get settled. Don't forget about me! I have posts to auto post for Monday. But hopefully I'll get the 52Q done for Tuesday and the CCC Challenge done for Wednesday after we get there.
Big Smiles and Hugs to you All!

CCC# 48 THANKSGIVING CARD
Happy Wednesday! You know what happens on Wednesdays, right? That's the day Cricut Card Challenge posts a brand new challenge for the week! This week Challenge #48 is to make a Thanksgiving card using the card feature from any cartridge you'd like, and using any colors you'd like. Sounds pretty simple, huh?
Only problem is this was a real challenge for me because I don't have any cartridges with any Thanksgiving themed cuts AND with the Card Feature. What's a girl to do? Improvise!
I pulled out Paper Pups (one of my most favorite carts) and found the HAPPY cut on one of the card features. Perfect! Now, how to turn this into a Thanksgiving card?
Next I pulled out my DCWV The Autumn Splendor stack and let the paper do some work for me. Not only are the papers in this stack sturdy cardstock, but the colors are vibrate FALL shades, some glitter, some foil, and some phrases too!
Here are the details:
Easy Peasey Lemon Squeezy. :)
Hope over to CCC and play along! We want to see what you create!

SUBSCRIBE TO MY BLOG!
Good morning! Guess what?! Now you subscribe via email to Pause Dream Enjoy!
I've never used this service before, so we will learn how it works together.
Basically there is a button on my sidebar that says SUBSCRIBE. Type in your email address, and you will receive an email asking for you to verify your subscription. Once your verify, you will receive an email when I have new posts go up on my blog.
You'll only get at the most one email per day. So if I posted twice on a day, you'd still get one email...... I think.
I set it up to send out emails between 7am - 9am. I'm thinking if I post today at 2pm and then again at 4pm, you'll get one email the next morning alerting you of both posts. But like I said, I'm learning too, so we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.
Have you posted a pic of yourself wearing Halloween socks yet? Click the GREEN SOCKED FOOT under my blog banner to go to the post where you can do that and see everyone else's socked feet. :)

TWO THINGS
Two things to share with you today. Ever notice it's always "two" things? It's never one thing or three things. Hmmmm, just an observation.
First of all, Mama & Daddy brought home their new toy today. Yes, you heard that right. Cricut is in their house! Hop over to their blog to see a picture of their first creation and hear highlights of our hilarious afternoon together. CLICK HERE TO GO TO THEIR BLOG.
Second thing, who all has Halloween socks? Come on. You know you do. You got them from the Dollar Tree or Target or somewhere. I thought it would be fun for us to show a picture of us wearing our Halloween socks. And who knows? Maybe at Christmas we can do this again and show a picture of us wearing our Christmas toe socks. LOL
Here is our Bonnie wearing her Frankenstein socks:

If at least 50 people will post links to pictures of them wearing their Halloween socks below, I'll do a small give-away. Nothing major, just something fun for playing along. But we need at least 50 people to play to have the drawing!
TRICK OR TREAT, SMELL MY FEET.....
