My Special Project for the 100th Challenge
Treat Box with Tag
This project was created using cut files from the Silhouette Online Store. You can purchase the cut files individually, or go to the Ready Set Make section to purchase them in a group and get a little discount. If you purchase from the Ready Set Make section, you will be able to download and print the PDF instructions.
In addition to the Silhouette cuts, I also used a Gold Foil Round embellishment from a Project Life kit, some retired tulle from Stampin' Up, Pear Ink from Close To My Heart on half the tag, and my favorite part.... the flower centers. Let me tell you how they came to life.
I received a Happy Birthday themed Pocket Letter that was wrapped in this gorgeous white tissue paper with gold foil hearts on it. I couldn't just throw that away like you would with wrapping paper on Christmas morning. No way. It was so pretty. My flowers were rolled after being cut out with the Silhouette, but they lacked something. I remembered the tissue paper, grabbed a cotton ball, and went to work. I separated one cotton ball into 3 sections and wrapped the tissue paper around it. Then I used a large glue dot to adhere it inside the flower centers. I love how it came out. They are fluffy and pretty! Yay for thinking outside the box sometimes. (Which is rare for me. LOL)
I'm tickled with this whole project.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to check out the other Design Team members' projects, the sponsors and prizes, and to create something to link up. Enjoy the rest of your day!
