2010 Mini Book Series #1

I hope you all choose to participate in the 2010 Mini Book Series!

Each week I will give prompts / questions / things to ponder.  This will be your inspiration for that week's page in your 2010 Mini Book.

The 2010 Mini Book is easy to create, embellish, and show your creative side.

I used envelopes for my book pages.  The envelopes were sealed, covered with patterned paper, then cut down the edge to create an opening.

A circle punch is great for creating a place to grab that tag or bookmark you slip inside.

On that tag or bookmark you will either answer the provided question or elaborate on that week's thought.

Use your imagination and customize this idea in whatever way suits your personality best.

Most importantly, leave a link in the comment section so that we can all see how your 2010 Mini Book is coming along.  We will all be inspired by your creativity and ideas.

2010 Mini Book Series #1 Assignment:

Create your first page of your book using the title "My 2010 Hopes & Dreams", or customize the title to your own personality.

Create a tag or bookmark to include in this page with all the things you wish to accomplish in 2010.  List as little or as much as you'd like.  If you are like me (I'm a list person), I include things that I know for sure I can say I accomplished.  For example, when I worked as a secretary for over 20 years, I made lists every day of the things I needed to do, and I always included something I knew for sure I could check off.  Most of the time, that would be "eat lunch".  LOL  But hey, scratching anything off my list gave me a great sense of accomplishment, so I always set myself up for some achievements during the day. :)

Don't forget to leave a link to your project! Check back next week for Assignment #2 for your 2nd page.

You can always check the sidebar for links to all the posts on the 2010 Mini Book Series to see posts / assignments you've missed or to view the comment section with links to your 2010 Mini Books.

Thanks for participating!

Merry Christmas!
Jingle Bells,
Janis
