Christmas Tags with a Beginner at Coloring

Hi, everyone! I made 18 Christmas tags this morning. Most of them were print 'n' cut images. Two of them were stamps I colored. Now listen, I'm new at this coloring thing. I almost didn't even post these because of the bleeding of colors into areas where it doesn't belong, but maybe, just maybe, a while from now I can look back and see how far I've come? Doesn't hurt to stay positive. :)

  • My Favorite Things Stitched Circle Nesting Dies
  • Holiday papers from Pink Paislee - Merry & Bright
  • To From stamps from Stampin' Up's past Paper Pumpkin Kit
  • Ribbon from Walmart ($1)
  • Stamped image from Pretty Cute Stamps - Cool Chick
  • Tag on the left was colored with Watercolor Markers (HSN) and blended with Aqua brush (SU)
  • Tag on the right was colored with Spectrum Noir markers

  2. So CUTE Janis! If there is "bleeding" it's due to the paper you used... Water coloring needs water color paper and the Spectrum Noir Markers are best used with the Spectrum Noir Ultra Cardstock - this is just from my experience of use.... Hope it helps you, and you continue to color! :) Have a great day!
