Road Trip

Hi, Crafters!

I love this Lori Whitlock Tent Style Card Base
I found in the Silhouette Online Store!
When our daughter, Bonnie, saw this, she pointed
at the van and said, "Scooby Doo!"
That's exactly what it reminded me of too.
I love Scooby Doo. Used to watch it every
Saturday morning growing up.

Staying Cool

Hi, Crafters!

Did you hop with us over the weekend?
Scroll down to the previous post to see
the winner from my blog.

Today's card was made especially for the challenge
over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.
Now here's the thing.
The challenge theme is VACATION,
and I kept looking at this fan cut and thinking
of someone sitting at their office desk
dreaming of a vacation
with the fan blowing.
I could not translate all of that
into my card.
So, Lisa, if you need to
delete this entry into your
challenge, I completely understand as it's
not the typical vacation card.
I had fun with it though!

I used the fan cut file from
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

Autumn Splendor Timeless Twine

Stitched Journal & Bracket plus Tab dies from My Creative Time

GORGEOUS papers and enamel dot (center of fan)
from My Mind's Eye "The Sweetest Thing"

Foam squares to adhere fan cut from the
Royal Castle Shoppe

Cardz TV Stamps "Fun in the Sun" - sentiment

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Stay cool in this summer heat.

Ink Dauber Organizational Project

Hi, Crafters!

How many of you guys use sponge daubers?
I use them on almost every project.
I have some of my ink pads numbered with the
corresponding number on the sponge dauber.
(Because sometimes it's hard for me to tell
which ink is which by just looking at the sponge dauber.)

I found a GREAT organizational box for these
in the Silhouette Online Store.

Very easy to cut and assemble, and it keeps
those little sponge daubers from falling over
and rolling off my desk.  :)

Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm up to. See you tomorrow!

4th of July Box with Timeless Twine & Miss Kate Cuttables

Hi, Crafters!
2nd post for today with another adorable
Gable Box!

Today's project is another CUTE gable box.
I dressed it up with some
Americana paper by Pebbles,
Craftin Desert Divas "Celebrate Freedom,"
Timeless Twine (white, aqua, red),
and of course some cute SVGs from
Miss Kate Cuttables, Independence Day Collection.

These little boxes are so fun!
Both images are adhered with
foam squares from the Royal Castle Shoppe.
I love those things. I use them on almost all my projects
for dimension. And the come on a roll with
pre-cut squares. How easy is that?
