Simple Christmas BANNER Card & Christmas Envelopes

Happy Saturday!

It's fun making cards, but how about customizing some envelopes?
After I show you my card, I have a couple of envelopes I stamped on to show you too.

I've been using the Inspiration Sheet that came with the
Simon Says Stamp Card Kit which has 6 card ideas on it.
THANK YOU, SSS, for including that!
I see the CAS cards on there and think they are so pretty.
Then when I make them I think, I need to add more STUFF.
LOL  But I don't. I'm just not used to the CAS (clean and simple) style.
I'll adjust.

Here's my card for today following one of the samples on the inspiration sheet:

The banners were created by cutting strips of the pattern paper, and using my square punch to flag the ends except for the large banner - that flagged end was cut by hand.

The Christmas tree was stamped and cut out leaving a white border.
I also hand cut the tree stem.

The large banner, stamped tree, and stamped sentiment are all adhered with foam squares for dimension.

I'm mailing a couple of packages out and didn't want the card to get lost in the padded envelope of goodies, so I decided to stamp an envelope for the card to put inside the padded envelope.
It's so simple to add a little personal touch to envelopes with stamping, don't you think?

Here are a couple of the envelopes I stamped.
Just wanted to share them with you.

They make me smile.
Hopefully, they will make the people receiving them smile too.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See you tomorrow.
:) Janis

  2. I love CAS cards Janis, they just always grab my eye before anything else. Doesn't mean I don't love the other cards because I do, but CAS just seems to grab my attention first. lol Love your card and love the way you have decorated your envies. In my stamp group I go too the ladies always stamp their envies to match the card. I always forget and need to get into that habit because it is very nice to do. Hugs, Brenda
