Advent Blocks

Let me be the first to welcome you to a brand new week.
For those of us in the USA - Next week is Thanksgiving!
You would think I'd show you a Thanksgiving type project,
but no, I'm having some fun with Christmas projects right now.

Today's project is a fun Countdown to Christmas using
Blocks and a little stand. Love the Santa on here.
Look! It's only 1 more day until Christmas!
Okay, maybe not.

Silhouette ID# 34296 - BASE and Santa cuts
Sil ID# 34295 - Blocks and Numbers cuts
I didn't use the numbers that came with this file.
Instead I used Sil ID# 65662. I liked these better. They are chunkier.
I cut out the mat and numbers both in red, and then layered the numbers on top of the white decorative mat.

I cut out some pattern paper to add to the stand for the background.
Santa is popped up with foam squares for dimension.
I drew his little face with markers.

Here's a close-up of Jolly Ole Saint Nicholas.
Ho Ho Ho

Hey! We could use these number cubes as dice!
Looks like they were covering up Santa's laundry on the stand.

Thanks to stopping by everyone!
Have a fabulous week.
:) Janis
