Quilt Card

Hello all my bloggy and crafty friends!
Can you believe it's already Thursday this week? Wow! This week is just flying by!
I'm so exctied because UPS is scheduled to deliver me some Stampin' Up fun today! Woo-Hoo! I hope he comes early!

Today's project idea was found in blogland, and I immediately PINNED it to my Pinterest Board under the Stampin' Up category. There is so much inspiration out there!

Here's My Project Recipe
Stamp Sets:

  • Blooming with Kindess (sentiment)
    • Wood #131961
    • Clear #126422
Inks:

  • Pistachio Pudding #131177 (around sentiment circle edges)
  • Strawberry Slush #131178 (sentiment)
Papers:

  • Gumball Green (In Colors) #126840
  • Gingham Garden (Designer Series Paper Pack) #129310
  • Melon Mambo (Brights) #115320
Accessories:

  • Brights Buttons #130028
  • Chevron Embossing Folder #127749
  • Stampin' Sponges #101610 (used for inking around edges)
Adhesives:
  • SNAIL #104332
  • SNAIL Refill #104331
  • Glue Dots #103683
Technique:

  • Card base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
  • Green mat cut @ 4" x 5 1/4" for quilting base
  • Squares cut @ 1 1/4" and aligned in quilting pattern and adhered to mat
  • Once squares were adhered to mat, I embossed it with the Chevron folder, then adhered it to the card base
