You Have Great Taste!

Happy Hump Day! Is your yard filled with the dusting of the yellow stuff? Our doggie, Rocky, spent most of the weekend outside with us messing around. His black fur was tinted with yellow from all the pollen. Of course it probably didn't help much that he was running in circles under the tree and through the bushes just because I think he likes the noise and the feel of the leaves all over him. He's so cute. Pollen is everywhere here. The trees are blooming. My Azalea bushes are blooming. The bumble bees are out and zipping around from flower to flower. I love it! Now if my allergies would settle down, it would be perfect. :)

Not too long ago, one of my very good friends, Lynn of Boots and Bling Time, sent me some gorgeous paper to use in my crafting. My favorite colors are purple and blue and the stack she sent was mostly purple with some blues. The papers also came with some rhinestones scattered here and there. It's the DCWV "The Glam Rhinestone Stack."

I picked out the papers I wanted to use; grabbed a die cut from my Cricut cut stash; pulled some ribbon from the blue and lavender spools not sure which one I'd go with (they both looked good to me); matched up the best shade of Stampin' Up ink I had; and got one of the paper lace doilies out I recently got in from Stampin' Up (I cut it in 1/2, then that in 1/2 again).

To choose the best Ink shade I have to go with this card, I grabbed my homemade INK SHADE CHART. One side has all the inks I own from Stampin' Up and the other side is all the inks I own from Close To My Heart. It's so nice to be able to hold my ink color chart by my project and easily see which shade is the best to use.
