Owl 1437 (Owl Series #1)

Good morning!
This is the 1st in the Owl Series. I'll be posting lots more owl cards in the next couple of weeks. :)

Today I want to share a very special card with you.

When my husband & I were dating, we used the term "1437" as another way of saying, "I Love You Bunches". This is because I has 1 letter, Love has 4, You - 3, and Bunches has 7 letters. We would write this on letters & cards that we gave each other and just say, "1437" at times. When we had children, we continued to use the term with them. We all still use it today.  The card I made today is for my hubby.

Hey, Tom, 1437!

Project #322 of this year
Card base is Kraft cardstock 5 1/2" x 4".
Background paper cut @ 5" x 3 3/4" from DCWV Cotton Bloom Stack.
Ribbon from Michael's.
Orange butterfly rhinestone from Studio 18.
Orange rhinestone in center of flower from Recollections.
HOOT 'N' HOLLER Cricut cart for Owl 4 cut @ 3 1/2".

1437 number stamps from K Andrew Designs "Owly Hoo" stamp set.

I have a handful of OWL cards already made using my new HOOT 'N' HOLLER Cricut cartridge. So expect to see a card made with every owl in that Lite cartridge over the next weeks. :) Sounds like a HOOT, huh?

This is my submission for INSPIRE ME FRIDAYS!

OWL be seeing you tomorrow. :) Janis

  10. Janis-When I read your email sharing your "secret" love code it brought a big smile to my face. My husband and I've been married for 21 years and we've always used what we thought was our "secret" love code 143 which we use verbally,in cards or text messages. This year we've added 617 to the end of 143 which stands for I Love You Always & Forever because Always & Forever by Heatwave is our wedding song. So now we either text 143617 or just 143. Thanks for sharing your 1437 aka I Love you Bunches. It's nice to hear someone else has & uses a "secret" love code. :)
