Project #239 for 2011
Hi!  Welcome to a brand new week and a brand new challenge over at my challenge blog, PAPER PLAYTIME. For Ch# 55 make an Easel / Pedestal card! Easy Peasy! It can be any theme and colors you like. I chose to make yet another Halloween card! Spooky.  Boo!

This is the outside that shows when the card is closed.

And this is the inside.
RECIPE:
  • A2 size card (5 1/2" x 4 1/4")
  • Fold outside of card in half to create a small mountain
  • Attach cardstock 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" to this folded part so that when the card is closed you only see the piece you just added.  When the card is open the top of this piece will stick up while the small mountain you made will push against what's on the inside of the card to keep it upright and open.
  • Whatever you put on the inside, make sure you pop it up so when the card is open the front cover will push against it and hold the card open in place.
  • Pattern *paper from Echo Park "Happy Halloween"
  • Solid papers from ColorBox (Walmart textured 12"x12" paper pack)
  • Buttons and ribbon from Joann's
  • MINI MONSTERS Ghost page  42 cut @ 3 1/2" - Keypad overlay Row 2, Column 5
  • MINI MONSTERS Spooky phrase with Shadow page 42 cut @ 2" - same place on keypad overlay
  • LACY LABELS for Sentiment mat - "Best Wishes" cut @ 2 1/2" - keypad overlay Row 3, Column 4
