TRIANGLE FOLD CARD

I found a really cool YouTube video today that shows you how to make this fun folding card from a triangle.  I was going to try to make a video tutorial on it myself, but I can't find my tripod.  I think we left it at the house in North when we moved a couple weeks ago.  I'll have to go back this weekend and see if I can find it there.

You can find the tutorial video I watched from TOMSHACKJ.  Click here to see it.  It's easy to do.  Really.  And the cool part is it will fit into a regular A2 size envelope!!  I used papers left over from the Quilt Card I made yesterday.

I'll try to explain the steps and measurements, but I know it will make a lot more sense if you watch the video link above.
  • 11" x 11" pattern paper
  • Ribbon
  • Adhesive
  • 2 each of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" squares for right and left flaps
  • 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" sentiment mat for front
  • 1 1/4" x 3 1/4" sentiment mat for front
  • 1" x 3" sentiment mat for front
  • 4 1/4" x 4 1/8" inside mat
  • 3 7/8" x 3 3/4" inside mat
  1. Turn pattern paper face down
  2. Fold point to point
  3. Score @ 5 1/2" and 3" vertically from edge on both sides
  4. Score @ 3 1/2" horizontally from top point
  5. Snip off small triangle area of overlapping score lines
  6. Use bone folder to crease all folds
  7. At 3" score line on both sides, open fold and push flat to make angled square
  8. Embellish as desired
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!  I'm going to sit here and make some more of these.  Too fun and easy!

My papers are from DCWV INDIAN SUMMER - this stack is full of great colors and patterns.
Clear stamps from Heidi Grace and RAK from Jenny at Wee Memories.
This is my submission for the following challenge:
